The CRO/CDMO Discovery Tool simplifies the process of sourcing the ideal Contract Research Organization (CRO) or Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization(CDMO) that is tailored to a company's scientific and operational needs.
The CRO/CDMO Discovery Tool is fully integrated into the Prendio platform allowing users to complete a search while staying in their existing workflows. Users can safely and securely chat with the AI-powered tool to find the best-fit CRO or CDMO option based on public data, proprietary Prendio data, and third-party insights to offer a level of personalization and recommendations backed by years of relevant industry knowledge.
Users can fully interact with the AI powered and Prendio data backed tool by
- Having a conversation with it
- Ask it for more details on certain CROs/CDMOs
- Refine a search based on study specifications, geographic locations, or CRO/CDMO company size.
To access the CRO/CDMO Discovery Tool, locate CRO/CDMO Discovery at the top of the screen:
Users will be directed to a search function that allows interactions in a conversational manner:
Questions can start off with a simple question and refining the results with further queries:

After completing a search, if a CRO/CDMO is one of Prendio's preferred suppliers, a badge will appear to the right of the CRO/CDMO's name:
Clicking on the badge will direct users to the CRO/CDMO's intro marketing card:
Users can click on a CRO/CDMO's (hyperlink):
Selecting a hyperlink will update the CRO/CDMO Details pane on the right. The details pane shows CRO/CDMO details, including the number of POs a CRO or CDMO been processed through Prendio and how many Prendio users they have earned repeat business from:
Additional details can be added to refine the search. Prendio will also provide related terms users can select from to add to search criteria:
If an ideal CRO/CDMO has been identified, users can initiate email contact by selecting Contact Company:
Please note that the Contact Company option may not be available for all search options.
This will launch the user's default mail service with a partially prefilled email to reach out to the company. Adjustments to the email can be made:
At any point, users can clear the chat and restart the tool:
