ThermoFisher Scientific Punchouts Require Login Issue

When accessing the ThermoFisher punchouts, users may encounter a screen asking for login information before continuing with an order:

This issue is caused on ThermoFisher's side, and they will need to implement a fix to prevent problems in the future.

Until the fix is ready, users can troubleshoot with the following:

  • Browser Maintenance - Users can check the version of their browser as well as deleting the browsing history and the cached files left behind by some websites.

  • Clear the browser's cache and cookies - After the cached is cleared, close the browser and reopen and login at procure.prendio.com.  Access the punchout again through the icon on the dashboard. This resolves the issue for most users.
  • Access the browser in a Private Window or Incognito Mode – Open the browser in these modes and log in at procure.prendio.com.  Aaccess the punchout again through the icon on the dashboard. This will help to rule out other factors such as browser extensions, cookies and cache issues as well.
  • Changing the browser - If issues still persist after clearing the cache, users can try switching to an alternative browser than the one they normally use.  Login at procure.prendio.com and access the punchout again through the icon on the dashboard.
