Unable To View PDFs in Browser

If the browser settings for PDF files are set to download the PDF, this can prevent users from viewing PDFs when reviewing Proxy Packing Slip requests.  Users can adjust their browser settings to enable the PDF files to appear for Proxy Packing Slip requests.

Example of the error in Chrome:

 

In Chrome, locate the three dots at the top right corner of the screen and select Settings:

 

A new screen will open.  On the left side of the screen, select Privacy and security:

 

 

Followed by Site settings:

 

Locate and select Additional content settings:

 

Followed by PDF documents:

 

Ensure that Open PDFs in Chrome is selected:

 

Navigate back to the screen with the PDF document and refresh the screen to view.

Example of the error in Microsoft Edge:

 

In Microsoft Edge, locate the three dots at the top right corner of the screen and select Settings:

 

On the left, select Privacy, search, and services followed by Site permissions:

 

Select All permissions:

 

Scroll down and select PDF documents:

 

Ensure that Always download PDF files is toggled Off (dot set to the left side):

 

Navigate back to the screen with the PDF document and refresh the screen to view.
