Requesters can request to add additional funds or pricing increases to a PO to cover additional expenses not previously budgeted in the original order amount. A user with the Buyer role can add funds or increase pricing to a PO and submit for re-approval when complete. Approvers on the approval path must review the request and approve or reject the new PO total.

Responding to a Re-Approval Notification Card
To respond to a request for re-approval, users can locate the notification on their Dashboard. The notification card will display the Original Amount, the Change Amount, and the New Total:
Users can select Details on a notification card to display order details and the complete approval path on the next screen. Users have the ability to Approve or Reject the new PO total on the Requisition Approval window:
If users need to view the order details, exit out of the Requisition Approval window:
When ready to approve or reject, locate the status of the PO in the top right (Submitted/In Approval) and select Click for details:
The Requisition Approval window will appear to approve or reject the PO. After the approver responds, they can return back to the Dashboard and the notification will be removed.
Responding to a Re-Approval Email
Users will also receive a corresponding email with the PO details in case they are unable to access Prendio. The email will also detail the New Total, the Previous Total, and the Changed Amount:
Based on the PO details in the email, an approver can follow one of the links above to Auto Approve, Review, or Reject the requisition in Prendio. (Please note that any attachments included for the requisition do not appear in the email. To check to see if the user included attachments for the requisition, it is best to Review in Prendio before approving or rejecting).
If an approver selects Review in Prendio, they will be directed to the Requisition Window after login. Users can exit out of the Requisition Window to view PO details before making a decision on the order.
Approving vs Rejecting a Re-Approval Request
Selecting Approve or Auto Approve (email) will move on to the next approver in the approval path or if you are the only approver/last approver needed for the requisition, the order will be confirmed with the new PO total. Any Dashboard notifications will be removed after responding to the quest.
Selecting Reject or Auto Reject (email) will prompt the approver to provide a Reject Requestions reason in the next window and then click on OK:
After a PO is rejected, the original requester of the PO and the Buyer processing additional funds or pricing adjustments will receive a notification by email with the rejection reason:
Email notification for the original requester:
Email notification sent to the buyer processing the additional funds or pricing increase:
POs that have been rejected in re-approval will contain the original PO amount before additional funds or pricing increases. The PO will also be routed to the Problem Orders queue for the buyer:
A buyer can locate the PO in Problem Orders in case additional funds of a different amount are required or to remove the PO from this queue if no further actions are needed. For additional details, please visit Removing a Rejected in Re-approval PO from the Problem Order Queue
